Inadvertently, the word ‘telehealth’ which means healthcare at a distance has been around us. In the era of the fourth industrial revolution, advanced technology such as information and communication technology and ubiquitous connectivity would narrow down the gap between patients and health care providers. Conclusively, it is hoped that this review sheds light on recognizing and improving the existing teleaudiology services and helps overcome the challenges faced in the era of pandemic and untact world to come. The scope of teleaudiology has been noted with telehealth due to Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) recently.
